He grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and was heavily influenced at a young age by punk rock and then got into Jazz in high school. When he was 17 he toured in Europe playing upright bass in an 18 piece jazz orchestra.

Stylistically he pulls from many genres and lands himself somewhere in between danceable indie pop and pop punk. With his full band show he primarily plays bass guitar and sings. During his solo shows he accompanies his vocals with a combination of piano and acoustic guitar.

Dubby does recording and producing for other artists. He also teaches private lessons for Bass,Guitar, Piano, Songwriting and Production in Logic.
